The College of Computing and Information Technology invites applications for the position of Part-Time DSAI Instructor.

Responsibilities

Your commitment

The primary role of the faculty members at the College of Computing and IT is to promote high-quality innovative teaching, applied research, and service. Besides, he/she should collaborate with the Head of Department, Dean, and the colleagues to achieve the college's mission, mentor junior colleagues, and teaching assistants, and support the department and the college with several administrative and academic services.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience teaching Data Science or related computing courses at the post-secondary level.
  • Experience with applied learning approaches and integrating technology into the classroom.
  • Fluency in English, with strong written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and assessment.
  • Industry experience or relevant certifications that align with Information Systems.
  • A track record of scholarly research and publications in Information Systems or related disciplines.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural academic setting.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to various learning styles and needs.
