Job Description

University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) was officially established by the Emiri Decision No13 of 2022, and it is the first national university specializing in academic applied, technical, and professional education in the State of Qatar. The College of computing and Information System invites applications for the position of Part-Time Information System Instructor.

Your commitment

The primary role of the faculty members at the College of Computing and IT is to promote high-quality innovative teaching, applied research, and service. Besides, he/she should collaborate with the Head of Department, Dean, and the colleagues to achieve the college's mission, mentor junior colleagues, and teaching assistants, and support the department and the college with several administrative and academic services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience teaching Information Systems or related computing courses at the post-secondary level.
• Experience with applied learning approaches and integrating technology into the classroom.
• Fluency in English, with strong written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and assessment.
• Industry experience or relevant certifications that align with Information Systems.
• A track record of scholarly research and publications in Information Systems or related disciplines.

Other Required Skills 

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural academic setting.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to various learning styles and needs.
